MIJI (미지) Duo is comprised of percussionists Ji Hye Jung and Michael Zell. Their repertoire ranges from arrangements of pieces from the classical era to newly commissioned works by composers such as Jason Treuting and Alejandro Viñao. They have performed concerts and presented masterclasses across the US and in South Korea. In addition to their work together, Ji Hye and Michael also frequently perform as soloists during MIJI Duo concerts.

Winner of the 2006 International Marimba Competition in Linz, Ji Hye Jung is currently Assistant Professor of Percussion at the University of Kansas. Michael Zell is a freelance percussionist residing in Kansas, and formerly the percussionist with The Carnegie Hall Academy in addition to having performed as Principal Timpanist with the Annapolis Symphony for five seasons.
