VIC FIRTH ARTIST
SEAN PADDOCK

At the young age of five Sean was sitting in and performing live with his parents at local nightclubs. Around nine, formal drum lessons began with Mike Mead, where he was introduced to different styles of music and pointed in the right direction. At fourteen, Sean and his family moved to Arizona where he continued his involvement in many high school bands, like marching, orchestra and stage. His semi professional journey began at this time when Sean landed his first paying gig with his father. After high school he was working full-time in music and on the local seen both in Phoenix and Northern NY by age twenty-one. His touring career began in 1996 with the then little known artist Kenny Chesney.

Sean has watched this tour grow from dingy, smoky clubs of a couple hundred fans to sold out football arenas of 60,000 plus! He’s had the pleasure of playing with many rock and country icons such as Sammy Hagar, Steve Miller, John Mellencamp, George Strait, Vince Gill and many, many more. Sean’s television appearances with Kenny include shows, like The Grammy’s, Austin City Limits, Sound Stage, ACM’s, CMA’s, AMA’s, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Late Night w/Conan O’Brien, The Late Show w/ Letterman, Good Morning America, and Today Show. When not on the road you may find Sean on sessions with an A list team of players or tracking drums out of his studio for various artists.
