MALLET SELECTION GUIDE:

The following is a selection of mallets that will provide the student will an expanded variety of sounds on the xylophone:

M133
Medium poly. A perfect general mallet for most xylophone playing!
Head = 1 1/8", L = 14 1/4"

M130
Soft plastic for warm, dark sound in the middle to lower register. Also great on the top 2 octaves of the marimba.
Head = 1 1/4", L = 14 3/8".

M140
For brighter or piercing sounds. Constructed with a medium nylon head, this mallet is also produces a warm sound on bells.
Head = 1 1/8", L = 14 1/4"

Stick Bag (SBAG2)

Holds 24 pairs of sticks and mallets and contains two small accessory pockets. Four outside pockets include one large enough for sheet music. Also features a detachable, padded shoulder strap and elastic fasteners with retractable clips for secure suspension from the floor tom. Water resistant leather-like vinyl with double stitching throughout. A heavy duty zipper holds it all together!
