Andra is one of those musicians who gets itchy feet playing music that has already been done. Freelancing as a drummer, vibraphone and cimbalom player is cool and all, but the real cookie is in the two bands for which he composes/manages/performs.
Valtozash is a 17-piece jazz-metal big band, for which Andra plays MalletKat with Vic Firth's unwrapped timpani mallets (T-5)! Five bari-saxes says this is the band most likely to make you crap yourself. Greshka, his other baby, intensely blend Balkan/Klezmer/Gypsy with metal and electronica in a through-composed, high-energy show.
