I started out on pots and pans at age 4, started gigging with my fathers band at 10, joined a local big band at 13 and got into professional live and studio situations at 15. Since then I have worked with most musicians and artists on the scandinavian scene as well as many international artists in a wide variety of styles, Jacob Collier, Bill Champlin, Bobby Shew, Donna Summer, Frank Gambale, Phil Woods, Wayne Bergeron, Michael Bolton a.o. Im associated with the bands Babylon Brothers, TOBB, Haakon Graf Trio, Erik Smith Trio, Skunk Funk International, Jens Wendelboe Big band and the Lars Erik Gudim Orchestra.
Most memorable Next-Level PerformanceI was 15 years old and got to play with one of the top jazz piano players in Norway, along with a great bass player. For some reason, I felt a particularly great flow of ideas and musicality and that something had fallen into place.
