DETAILS

The American Classic line combines tradition and Vic Firth style. With bold designs, the Classics are turned from select hickory — a dense wood with little flex for a more pronounced sound. Hickory is also capable of withstanding a great deal of shock, making it highly durable. The tips are deeply back-cut for intensified cymbal response.

Tried lots, keep coming back to these

"I've used many makes and sizes but always end up back with Vic Firth American Classic 2BN's. They are so well balanced I get the perfect amount of rebound and a very positive feel to drum strikes ! ie they don't "wander". They are regarded as a "heavy" stick but the great balance makes them very easy to play. I use them exclusively now for both heavy and light playing. You don't need light sticks for light playing, you just need well BALANCED sticks and these are perfect. I won't use anything else now."

Unbeatable Feel!

"Through out my drumming career I've tried a lot of different Vic firth models, but there is something about the classic 2b that makes me feel right at home....the combination of length, diameter, neck and tip makes the most balanced stick I've ever played! Whatever musical situation that I'm in, the 2b's can handle!"
