Fidel Morales is a drummer, composer and educator, born in Cuba.
He is considered one of the most outstanding musicians of his generation for his incredible talent as a drummer and composer, as well as for being an inspiring educator. Fidel has played with jazz elite musicians such as Eddie Gomez, Danilo Parez and Gonzalo Rubalcaba. He headed the Jazz and Caribbean Music Department of the Conservatory of Music of Puerto Rico, where he is professor of Jazz Drums. His Latin Jazz production "Omao" was selected among the best albums of 2016 in Puerto Rico and was also nominated for a Cubadisco for Best Jazz Solo Artist.
