Richard Szaniszlo started playing the drums at 4 years old on his grandfathers pans, and soon after enrolled in Janos Palotasy music school in his hometown. He continued his percussion studies with Prof. Gabor Siklosi at the Academy of Music Ferenc Liszt in Szeged and at the same time had various temporary jobs at the Szeged Philharmonic playing percussion, vibes and marimba.
Nowadays, he regularly gives concerts at Hungarian Radio as a session musician “ solo concerts and live broadcastings with his bands.
Szaniszlo is leader of his own band called New Vibes Project, Heads Up! and Richard Szaniszlo Trio (Peter Olah, Adam Bogothy bass; Andras Lakatos, Tamas Hidasz drums)
He is a member of VIBRATONE Quartet (Dezso‘ Olahs band), Red Stones Quartet and Adam Bogothy Trio.
