Freestyle is a new series of sticks from Vic Firth that draws inspiration from the dynamic world of freestyle longboard skateboards. For freestyle riders, it's about expression, flow, and style. They have the versatility to move up and down the board without losing control, using every inch of their deck.

Vic's Freestyle series of drumsticks combine a massive overall length of 17" with extra long tapers. This combination of length and taper length more than doubles the area where a drummer can place their fulcrum - offering a humongous array of responses and feels out of the same pair of sticks.

Almost perfect.....

"I absolutely love using these sticks. They are unlike anything I've used in my decades of drumming. THE RESPONSE! Unbelievable.....Their only downside: the tips chafe and break way too soon. Please make a nylon tip version for those of us who play for a living as the price of quality sticks is too high to have to throw them away after just one performance."

"I absolutely love these sticks. They are a 5 star stick but i rate them 4 stars cause they are always out of stock. I could use a life time supply of these Freestyle 5B's and never switch again. They fit such a wide variety of uses. I do have one complaint is that they do break easier than a standard 5B, but they are longer so thats just science bro. Over all, with proper use, these sticks are flipping BANGERS!!! LOVE THEM. but you gotta bring them back in stock vic-y! Im dying here, barely surviving off some extremes. I got the alert and notification turned on for when they are instock again. . . Or ya know vic firth, you could just send me a pair to make up for being out of stock so much and so long. It would mean a lot ˜‰"

"I always felt like I needed more length on my 2B sticks, and I finally got it with the VF Freestyle 5B. Feels a lot like a standard 2B, except the extra 17" length gives them more leverage and reach. They just feel better in my hand. Worth a try if you're looking for a longer stick."
