Found the perfect stick for my playing

"I was always a 5A player but loved the feel of Jojo Mayer's signature stick - the only downside was it was too short for my liking. I feel like the AJ1 has a similar bounce and control but with the length that I prefer. I find that my hands don't get as fatigued as when I'd use a 5A, probably because these are closer to a 5B in thickness and my hands are probably better fit to that size. I love that I can play dynamically when I'm in the studio, but can also smash when needed. I can see these not lasting if you tend to death-grip your sticks - the neck is too thin to use without a loose grip technique. But as always, VF surpasses my expectations with quality."
