Good feel, poor dynamic control

"These sticks feel pretty good for tenors. They generate a LOT of sound, but honestly, it's too much. You can get insanely loud with these, but it's very difficult to get quiet. Not very articulate either."

Short, heavy, excellent

"These tenor sticks are pretty short, which I honestly like. It helps with zones. The medium taper helps balance the weight of the stick evenly and is very durable. The big bead makes for huge sound in all frequencies, high, medium, and low. They make the drums sing, they sound great, not too bright to where the lower ends are sacraficed, and not too low to where you get NO low end. The rebound feels great and they're not easy to get wrist fatigue from. The density of the stick makes them kind of heavy but honestly I think the weight reduces the need for extreme individual stroke control, once you have good habits set in this supports it very well, and the weight just helps the rebound. These sticks just make tenors feel a little bit easier to play!"
