DETAILS
Introducing the new series of Vic Firth Heavy Hitter™ practice pads, a completely redesigned version of the beloved marching practice pad. Engineered in collaboration with Bill Bachman and Chris Romanowski, the new Heavy Hitter harkens back to the original design, featuring silicone pads for optimal feel and performance. The addition of newly integrated rims provide the best possible and most realistic practice experience available.
The Stockpad measures in at 13" overall diameter and features a thicker playing surface. Even when played with full force at the loudest dynamic, this pad absorbs the blows and controls the volume for longer and later practice. Perfect for beginners and more advanced players alike, the new Heavy Hitter™ series offers the ultimate practice solution for marching percussionists.

"The feel to the pad was really good and the laminate made even BETTER but I wish the rim was rubber"

"i love this pad and i will be definitely be using it more frequently than my offworld pad lol. adding the laminate is a pretty skeptical decision tho but i stuck with adding mine for the articulation and slicker feel. i owned a previous generation slim and stockpad and they definitely feel a lot different to the stockpad that i purchased. in a good way of course. the new rubber compound feels absolutely amazing and similar to the OG slimpad. I march with a scholastic world class wgi group and this is definitely a good feel and close to a real high tension marching snare drum. i would buy this until i die. worth every penny."
