I absolutely love these sticks,

"I absolutely love these sticks, and have been using them for years. I've gotten a few of my students into the Buddy Rich sticks, and are now using them. Thank you Vic Firth. Chris Hawkins Drum Educator for School of Rock (Cresskill/Maywood, NJ)"

I really like the BRs

"The weight and balance are good for me. The tip gives me just the right amount of power, can add more if needed. The white paint I thought I wouldn't like never played on any hate that red grip stuff. But. . . . What ever they use I find the paint is less friction on my hands especially right and the the stick don't really slide around in my left either. So the paint just makes it easier for me to hold my sticks. I'm just getting back to playing on the kit but always working on the pads. So I did have sticks in my hands. These have made a difference for me. The feel and weight ease of grip they work for me."

Incredibly balanced

"I have been playing drums for 38 years now, and have always used a 7A (or thinner) model made by another stick maker. However, very recently, a drum student of mine gifted me a pair of these BR sticks and I immediately fell in love with them. I have always preferred a long taper on a stick and these are just what I needed. The white finish also looks great on stage too. I've finally found my stick."

The best sticks I've owned and the only I want to buy.

"The tip is bold and not pointy. The shoulder is stout but not bulky. Perfect for heavy handed cymbal crashes and quick playing around the set. I got a stick from Buddy many years ago. I bet he wished then he could have had his own design made back then as he helped Vic created for us today. RIP."

My one pair of sticks on a deserted island

"The BR stick is not as heavy up front like a 5B model. The shank is a little more tapered than the Vic Firth 5B. The BR model feels great in your hand and the balance or fulcrum is easy to find. The tips blend in with the neck and work really well for press rolls. If you were playing heavy rock music you might find a 5B weight a better choice. These are great all around sticks and make for really nice Gene Krupa kind of rim shots on the snare. I would even use these on a small jazz trio gig, they just feel great in your hands and sound rich on a ride cymbal. Perfect for all around playing!"

Best

"Regardless of Buddy Rich being an amazing legend and drummer, these are the perfect sticks for me, after getting used to the 41,5 length I can't play with anything else at my top level < 3"

Best sticks I have ever tried

"I got these for my birthday and I really loved them. I wanted to get these sticks when I was young because COOP3RDRUMM3R used them a lot in his old videos. it's cool to have the sticks from, in my opinion, one of the greatest jazz drummers ever! The design is so ergonomic and I really like the white paint finish. When I was testing them out on my drum kit, the first thing I played was "Sing Sing Sing" :)"
