When I first heard AC/DC, Led Zeppelin, and Dire Straits as a kid, the next logical step was to pick up sticks and figure out how to do THAT on the drums. These days, hearing a crushingly heavy track still brings a smile to my face and makes me want to stomp around the room and hear more, thats what its all about. Metal, punk, hardcore, blast beats, double kick, and everything in between, if the drums destroy and theres a wall of guitars and bass with a healthy amount of dynamics to keep things interesting, Im there!
Lo!, LORD, Burial Pit, The Wvlf + various recording sessions and tour fill-ins
Most memorable Next-Level PerformanceRecording the Lo! album 'Vestigial'. I worked hard on techniques for speed and endurance for a metal band I was filling in for prior to recording. When it came time to record the Lo! album, everything fell into place.
