Alberto Mazza is an Argentine drummer located in Italy since 2018, throughout his career he has toured with his own projects in different countries in America and Europe.

He works hard on the divulgation of Argentine music, which he has renewed, restructuring all its rhythms, combining them with ideas from Jazz music, Afro Cuban music and Brazilian music.

He is the author of the book Argentine Folk Music an Improvisation Approach, which he has presented in different schools and universities around the world through Clinics and Master Classes.

He has been in the teaching field for more than 25 years. He is the founder of Dinamika Drum School in Italy and creator of the most important drum fest in Italy, Dinamika International Drum Fest, which also takes place in Spain.

  • WHAT INSPIRES YOU?

    My most memorable performance was at the second edition of the Dinamika International Drum Fest Italy with a 45-minute show alone with my drum set playing Argentine music and extensive solos with a full theater and a great ovation from the European audience.

  • WORDS OF WISDOM FOR THE NEXT GENERATION OF DRUMMERS

    I have 3 very important engines that drive my creativity that are not related with music and they are: Solitude at night, being in the green spaces of Italy, or in the sea, there I make no effort so that the creative impulses find development, after those sessions everything happens very fluidly when I'm in front of my drums.
