Alessandro Casci

My interest in music began at the age of ten. At home I had a beautiful turntable and many vinyl records of various genres. I was immediately captivated by his drum skills. At around the age of 16 I started taking my first drum lessons. I wasn't a good student: I preferred studying with any kind of band and any kind of genre and I didn't like studying and practicing. At the age of 20 I was already playing in various bands: from rock to jazz and I also had my first gigs. Over the years I have become more and more fond of drum teaching, so much so that it then became my true passion and my main work activity. I have worked since 1998 as a teacher and since 2007 I opened my own drum school: the Freestroke Drum School. Freestroke Drum School is a concept of professional teaching, where the student has the opportunity to study and test himself completely, on technique but also on recording, production and his own personal growth. In fifteen years Freestroke Drum School has become a point of reference for Italian teaching with the regular organization and promotion of Clinics, Masterclasses and Drum Camps with national and international artists.
