Alex Bailey was born in Kansas City, and began playing drums at the age of 5. In High School, Bailey was chosen to perform in the prestigious Gibson/Baldwin Grammy High School Jazz Band. After high school, he attended and graduated from Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA. In 2015, Bailey joined legendary bassist Marcus Millers band, and currently tours extensively. In addition, recording his latest Grammy Nominated record, Laid Black. Alex also played on the soundtrack for the movie, œMarshall featuring actor Chadwick Boseman. Alex Bailey is also known for being an accomplished Bassist, Musical Director, and Producer.
