Australian-born Alex Stopa is in high demand as a drummer, percussionist, marimba soloist, and clinician. Dr. Stopa performs regularly with the Las Vegas Philharmonic, Nevada Ballet Theater, and Nevada Pops. He has performed with Aretha Franklin, Amy Grant, Idina Menzel, Placido Domingo, Donny and Marie Osmond, Weird Al Yankovic, Charo, Evanescence, Cirque Du Soleils œZarkana, and for numerous Las Vegas production shows. He played drums for rock group "Big Talk" (Ronnie Vannucci of "The Killers") with whom he performed on Jimmy Kimmel Live. He currently plays drums for œLe Reve at The Wynn Hotel in Las Vegas.
