Claudio is a Chilean Drummer, born in Santiago of Chile. During his childhood, Claudio was initially introduced to the flute. However, after 2 years of lessons, he decided he would rather play drums. Soon after, at the young age of 12, he became the drummer for the school band, a position he held until he graduated high school. After graduation, he decided to study percussion at the prestigious Universidad Catolica de Chile in Santiago. Claudio's professional career began in the mid-1980s as drummer for the band Doctor No. It wasn't long until the band was recording in studio.
He has worked with several national bands such as alvaro Scaramelli, La Sociedad and Sexual Democracia with which he won 2 Apes awards and obtained 2 gold and 2 platinum records. Claudio also tours abroad and performs at the Vina del Mar festival. He worked as a session and TV musician to International artists such as Thalia, Diego Torres, Ricardo Montaner, Rossana, Ricky Martin, Patricia Manterola as well as many others. He recently worked as a drum teacher at the Audio Musica School from 2002 until 2017 but currently runs his own drum school. In addition, Claudio participates as a session musician for tribute bands and projects such as Aterrizaje Forzoso and Los Sexuales.
