Most memorable Next-Level Performance
A few years ago, the band Queen decided to bring their hit West End musical to the United States and held auditions in New York. I was lucky enough to get a call and got to audition for the existing members of Queen for the first national tour of their show 'We Will Rock You'. Even though I was the underdog, somehow I managed to make it through the all day auditions against 13 other incredible drummers and leave that day with the job! Maybe one of the best days of my life so far hearing that news from Roger Taylor and Brian May! -
What Drives Your Creativity?
Having grown up as a singer and pianist as well as a drummer, I find a lot of inspiration from ALL aspects of the the music world. My creativity comes from being able to tell a story and create emotions, even on an instrument that is typically stereotyped as loud and one dimensional. Having the right tools from Vic Firth help me achieve that! -
Why do you choose Vic Firth?
When I choose any gear, it has to feel great, sound amazing and be strong enough to withstand a rigorous schedule. Vic Firth's products cover all of these bases! I've always known that I can rely on all my Vic Firth sticks, brushes and mallets holding up and helping me get the job done perfectly!
