  • WHAT INSPIRES YOU?

Those special musical moments mostly happen for me during live performance when it all connects and every element seems to lock in. The place that the music takes you, the people you’re playing with, and the physicality all seems to come together and it’s like flying. With any luck, I try to get to that place often.

  • WORDS OF WISDOM FOR THE NEXT GENERATION OF DRUMMERS

I learn so many tunes and play many different styles of music with a changing group of players on a regular basis. There’s always something new and interesting that pushes my creativity forward.

  • FAVORITE ZILDJIAN CYMBAL/COMBO

Whether I'm in the studio or playing live, having the right brush or stick for the perfect sound is so important. Vic Firth sticks give me the great quality that I rely on and a wide ranging palette of sounds and textures that inspire me.
