Lindsey Stirling

Drew has been a touring professional for nearly 20 years playing with acts Lindsey Stirling, Demi Lovato, David Archuleta, Kris Allen, Lee “Scratch” Perry, Reel Big Fish and many more. Drew moved to Los Angeles after graduating high school to pursue a career in drumming and never looked back. Drew has been with Lindsey Stirling since 2012 and has appeared on all her live tours and also recorded select tracks for her including “Phantom of the Opera Medley” (which was featured on the opening sequence of the Netflix show “Umbrella Academy) and “Ice Storm” from Lindsey Stirling’s #1 Billboard classical record “Snow Waltz”. He also recorded drums on the Grammy Nominated “Repentance” by reggae legend Lee “Scracth” Perry produced by Andrew W.K. Drew has been with Vic Firth since 2016 and also endorses Turkish Cymbals and Yamaha Drums. He now lives in East Nashville, Tennessee

  • Most Memorable Next-Level Performance?

    I’ve been a part of so many amazing shows and records in my life it’s hard to pinpoint exactly which is most memorable. Playing Madison Square Garden with Demi Lovato 3 nights in a row definitely is up there, headlining and selling out Red Rocks 3 times with Lindsey Stirling, playing president Barack Obama’s inauguration, the list goes on. I am just so thrilled I get to do what I love for a living and coming on 20 years in this crazy industry I am grateful for every tour and experience I get to still have.

  • What Drives Your Creativity?

    Other drummers. I find so much inspiration in drummers I look up to and my peers. I’m constantly challenged to up my game being around such amazing musicians day in and day out in the music industry.

    Vic Firth is and always has been the best in the Biz. Their feel, their consistency, everything about Vic Firth is as top notch as it gets and I couldn’t imagine playing another stick. I love everything from the sticks, the history of the company, to the people I get to work with at Vic Firth!
