I got going with drums back in middle school, joining the school bands and eventually meeting current Rarity guitarist Adam Clarke. I must have been drumming 7 days a week between high school jazz band and covering metal songs in my basement with my friends. I was going to local shows every weekend and it was at those shows that I met the 3 other guys that would become Rarity! Vic Firth just became an extension of my arm. I've been playing them as far back I can remember; jazz band, starting Rarity, flash forward to touring North America and Europe/UK. I always gravitate to that signature feel and iconic logo.

Most memorable Next-Level PerformanceThe last Hometown show I played was the longest set I've ever put together. The band gives 110% the entire time and I take pride in matching that energy. I was thrilled to see my stamina hold up (as well as my Vic Firth drum sticks)!
What Drives Your Creativity?Im inspired by my peers. I grew up studying the drummers of my city's local bands, then moved on to touring Canadian drummers. Now my biggest inspiration are friends, both local and international. I'm very lucky to be surrounded by such creative people.
Why do you choose Vic Firth? The feel is unmatched, the profile is cardinal and the brand is iconic! I play the best sticks on the market because I have a job to do and I need the best tools for that job.
