Started playing drums when I was a kid, inspired mainly by the Beatles. I was drawn to the feeling of being a part of a group of musicians. I've always been a big "consumer" of music. Always interested in different styles and feels within genres. I was lucky to have played in touring bands like Los Mocosos, which allowed me to grow as an artist. I'm grateful to continue to play with so many creative and talented people I've found first in Tremor Low and now with Billie Gale.

Most memorable Next-Level PerformanceI learned Moller from Dave Weckl. Wanting a relaxed approach. After a while I wondered if I was getting any better. During a Mocosos tour opening up for Santana, Karl Perazzo mentioned how relaxed my playing seemed. That did it!
What Drives Your Creativity?I get inspired by music with a strong "concept", by artists that do it for the sake of music. It's almost like you could hear their thoughts through what they are playing. A good example for me is Elvin Jones.
Why do you choose Vic Firth?Vic Firth is quality all around. The weight of the sticks, the sharp detail in the final product but most importantly the perfect shape of the sticks makes it so easy to have control and just pay attention to the music.
