Frederick Griffith, born in Barbados on June 9, 1971. From an early age he was drumming on anything he could find - skillets, old saucepans, school desks - everything flat became a source of music. At the age of 10, his natural talents were recognized by local gospel band Phase II Undaunted, who took him on as their drummer. This talented drummer for over thirty-five (35) years on the music scene, worked with professionals including regional and international gospel and jazz artists, taking the art to further heights. Put him on his drum set and that is where life begins.

Most memorable Next-Level Performance
Lost in the music one Christmas morning playing at an outdoor show, I soon recognized that the crowd had moved from front stage and gathered at the back to watch me play. Something took me over and everything changed. -

Why do you choose Vic Firth?
For about 7 years I was playing with other brands but at the age of 14 years old my father bought me my first pair of Peter Erskine’s sticks for my birthday and I have never looked back from Vic Firth. The product has been reliable and therefore highly respected.
