Bulgarian-born percussionist, Georgi Videnov, specializes in orchestral, solo and chamber music performance. In 2017, he completed the Master in Musical Arts Degree at the Yale School of Music, under the tutelage of Prof. Robert van Sice, and during his time there he took part in the Yale in New York Concert Series performing at Carnegies Weill and Zankel recital halls. After winning the Woolsey Concerto Competition, Mr. Videnov performed Martin Bresnicks Double Marimba Concerto œGrace alongside marimbist Sam Um and the Yale Philharmonia led by Peter Oundjian. Currently, Mr. Videnov serves as the Assistant Principal Timpanist/ Percussionist with the Suzhou Symphony Orchestra in China.
