Gorden Campbell started playing drums at the age of 5 years old at his grandfather's church in Newburgh, NY. He played in school from 4th grade through college (Howard University) where he earned his Bachelor's of Music as a Jazz Studies major. In 1993, Gorden moved to Los Angeles to pursue his career in music. Since then, he has toured, recorded, played on television shows (and everything else) with, Earth Wind & Fire, George Duke, Mary J. Blige, Jessica Simpson, American Idol tour, Gerald Albright, Lalah Hathaway, Neyo, Whitney Houston and many more! Currently, he is releasing his first solo album.
