Dude. Nashville based drummer Harry Miree keeps his Vic Firth Sticks busy. During Music Citys long touring season, hes been known as the road drummer for a laundry list of country artists including LOCASH, Clare Bowen, Ryan Follese, Levi Hummon, Troy Cartwright, Morgan Frazier, and more. Then the offseason hits and Harrys alter-ego comes alive: the YouTube drumming personality who cant stop saying œdude, dude. Mirees videos centered around open-handed drumming have amassed millions of views from curious drummers around the world in just a few years, and the story is still unfolding. Some people think he is good at drums.

Most memorable Next-Level Performance
Dude, long story short: One night The Roots crashed my gig and I found myself looping this hilarious riff with Captain Kirk while Black Thought freestyled his ever-loving face off. When people talk about "bringing the house down" I just think of this litany of college kids yelling "OHHHH!!" after every line, like he'd just solved Rubik's Cube blindfolded, over and over again. Dude's a legend. -
What Drives Your Creativity?
Drumming is a language. Great drumming sounds like comedy to me; I hear something insane and it just makes me laugh. If I can cause others a few chuckles while I'm here, I'll have squeezed more than I deserved out of life. -
Why do you choose Vic Firth?
