My name is Jack Williams and I have been playing drums for 14 years. I started playing in my church and slowly started pursuing a professional since then. I love rock and roll music and heavy grooves. I am currently playing with Casting Crowns.

  • WHAT INSPIRES YOU?

    Learning how to tune correctly. I have always heard other drummers tells me "sound good, play good", but I didn't understand that until I took serious time learning how to properly tune drums. It is a game changer and truly allows me to play better.

  • WORDS OF WISDOM FOR THE NEXT GENERATION OF DRUMMERS

    A lot of my creativity comes from music I am listening to and my band mates. I have some favorite drummers I look to, but my main point of creativity comes from other band influences.

    Vic Firth makes it easier to play in my opinion. Other than being a well-known company, they always keep quality in their forefront and that alone inspires me to play Vic Firth.
