Jean-Pierre studied drums with Peter Erskine, Joa Baron, Trilok Gurtu, Billy Hart etc., Maria Margarita Ponce (Higher Studies in the Academy of Havana) professor of Horacio Hernandez and he played with Enrike Pla, Irakeres drummer. As a studio musician, Jean-Pierre has recorded several albums with the group, Agatha. In Europe, he is considered a researcher and drum innovator.

I studied drums with Peter Erskine in Europe. 25 years later, I share the stage (Drum show)with Peter. It was a great moment like a Dream that takes you forward from the inside

In Europe (Drum-show).I did to share the stage with Great Masters: Billy Cobham, Virgil Donati,Tomas Lang, Walfredo Reyes, Dave Weckl, Mike Terrana etc It was a great motivation that forced me to be creative and find my personality. I learned a lot especially humility.
FAVORITE ZILDJIAN CYMBAL/COMBO
My favorite sticks are: American classic 5A "It's an extension of my creativity with a beautiful sound on the snare drum and toms." I like the solidity of the wood, the sound of the olive on the cymbal. Very important for drummers looking for the (Touchdown). It's an incredible model, I can play several styles with ease (Latin, Jazz, Fusion)."
