Sara Evans
I started at age 7, played in school bands throughout, and listened and copied a lot of Led Zeppelin and Toto learning from two of my all-time favorites. I've played in many bar bands along with Eddie Money, Kurth and Taylor, and my current job with Sara Evans. I've always tried my best to play for the song, not myself. I am truly blessed to be able to do what I love, so I never work!
WHAT INSPIRES YOU?
I've been blessed with many memorable moments, playing the super bowl, sold out stadium tours, several tv spots, CMT Crossroads with REO Speedwagon, but my most memorable would be the first time playing the Tonight Show with Jay Leno.

Definitely listening to other drummers, especially some of the more recent ones that have broken into a new level of greatness! I've also received good feedback from current peers in the country world, keeps me going and wanting to grow as an artist.
FAVORITE ZILDJIAN CYMBAL/COMBO
I've been using Vic Firth products pretty much my whole drumming life. Started with 5B American Classic Wood tip back in the 70's. Their products have always lasted longer, felt better, and sounded better than any of the other companies. And I will always use Vic Firth.
