With a 45 year studio career, Jim has appeared on hundreds of recordings, crossing many genres of music. Such artists include Joe Walsh, Joan Baez, Kathy Mattea, Kim Carnes, Joe Cocker, Janis Ian, River Phoenix, James McMurtry, Indigo Girls, Carrie Newcomer, Don Dixon, Marti Jones, Amjad Ali Khan, Chris Tomlin, Oliver, Brook Benton, Jeanie C Riley, The Glen Miller Orchestra, The Platters, Patti Page, and Hootie and the Blowfish. As an artist himself, Jim has six solo recordings and a DVD to his credit.
