  • Most memorable Next-Level Performance

I was recording a record for Columbia entitled "Where'd You Hide The Body" by James McMurtry. Early into the sessions I discovered that the usual rules of play needed to be tossed out, and a more fearless, inventive approach is what would make these songs come alive. I have taken that approach ever since, when needed.
  • What Drives Your Creativity?

The lyric has always dictated how I approach a song. It tells me what backdrop to paint to support a story.
  • Why do you choose Vic Firth?

Vic Firth sticks have never let me down. The feel, weight and balance are always equal from stick to stick. Never an odd one in the bunch.
