Joe Accaria is an award-winning graduate of the Sydney Conservatorium of Music holding an Honours Bachelor of Music and Education. Joe has worked extensively worldwide as a musician, composer, music producer and music director. Artists include Andrea Bocelli, Smokey Robinson, Ronan Keating, Jimmy Barnes, Yothu Yindi, Marcia Hines, Tina Arena, Human Nature, David Campbell and Wendy Matthews.
Music Direction credits include Dein Perrys Tap Dogs (Broadway Entertainment Group), iOTA B-Girl (SOH), The Motown Show (Human Nature), VELVET (Organized Pandemonium), Gypsy (Hayes Theatre Co) Pigalle (Sydney Festival). Joe is also Musical Director for David Campbell (Luckiest Productions) and Marcia Hines Disco Inferno.
Joe also performed in the Helpmann Award winning Smoke & Mirrors with iOTA, directed by Craig Ilott. Joe was a co-recipient of the Helpmann for Best Original Score with iOTA and is the music director and soundtrack producer on the award winning, Velvet. The Original Cast Recording of Velvet was nominated for an ARIA award in 2016.
Joe performed in the World Premiere of Dream Lover with David Campbell and creator of all female stage show, DrummerQueens.
