I started playing drums at age 11. By 15 I was playing professionally and teaching 20+ students a week. Ive always had a great interest in breaking things down and finding new ways to tackle problems - both my own, and those of students. In 2007 I joined Wishbone Ash. Ive recorded multiple studio and live albums and DVDs and toured extensively with the band. In my down time I focus on creating lessons for my educational website (joecrabtree.com), and on improving the ultimate drummers app for iOS, PolyNome (polynome.net).

Most memorable Next-Level Performance
As a challenge from a friend, I transcribed and learned a Chris Coleman solo. Finally playing it note for note at full speed was exhilarating and definitely pushed me to my limits. -
