John Bryant is an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Southern Methodist University, Drumset and Music Production. He has performed and recorded with Ray Charles, Joe Walsh, Delbert McClinton, Eric Burdon, Don Henley. Bryant has recorded at Columbia Studios in New York with Phil Ramone, RPM Studios with Ray Charles, Criteria Studios in Miami, The Automatt in San Francisco, Fame Studios in Muscle Shoals, Ardent Recording in Memphis, Arlyn Studios in Austin, and Dallas/Fort Worth studios. He has produced, edited, and directed the documentary film, Dare To Drum, starring Stewart Copeland, the Dallas Symphony with DDrum.     I was playing in France with Ray Charles. It was a Spring outdoor concert, and I felt connected to the music and the drums. After the show, Ray told me he wanted to hear me play like that every show.
