Born and raised in Los Angeles, Jon Epcar is a drummer and a songwriter. His parents, making their trade in voiceover, introduced Jon to life in the studio from a very young age. After attending Berklee College of Music in Boston, Jon joined his childhood friends in creating the band Carney, and subsequently moved to New York. He now splits his time between NY and Nashville.

Finding joy in variety, Jon has worked with many artists, including Bono, Justin Timberlake, John Legend, Rihanna, Natasha Bedingfield, Carly Rae Jepsen, The 8G Band on Seth Meyers, Klangkarussell, Cristian Castro, Matt Morris, Madison Beer, Katie Melua, Evan Rachel Wood, Jackson Harris, Jesse James, Joan Osborne, John Cameron Mitchell, The Ghostwriters, Taryn Manning, John Issac Watters, and Danielia Cotton, among others. On Broadway, he originated the drum chairs for Spider-Man, Amelie, and Tina Feys Mean Girls. Jons debut album as a songwriter, bandleader, and producer, MORNING DRONE, was released in 2017, and his follow up, SOLO DUO TOOT, was released in 2021.
