Born in Havana City in 1963, he has always been passionate about percussion since he was a child. In his homeland of Cuba, he has collaborated with artists such as Mirta Medina, Annia Linares, Lourdes Torres, Héctor Téllez, etc. He graduated from the "Ignacio Cervantes" music school with a specialty in Latin percussion. In 1993, he arrived in Spain (Zaragoza) with the musical group "Caribe Expreso," performing at "Eddison Estudio" and in various nightclubs and pubs in the city. After some time, he joined the "Montesblanco" Orchestra, performing in many cities in Spain and France. He also worked on record productions with groups like Ixo Rai, Juanjo Javierre, Loquillo, etc. In 1994, he moved to the Canary Islands, where he currently resides. He has collaborated with groups such as Alhambra, Los Ángeles Banda Show, Esmeralda, etc. He has been part of concerts and record works with artists from the Canary Islands, etc. Additionally, he has performed as a percussionist in the show "El Cabaret del Capitán Varela" under the artistic direction of Manolo González produced by Mestisay, performing in various theaters, squares, and auditoriums in the Canary Islands, as well as on tour in Madrid (Teatro Príncipe Gran Vía). He also participated in the "Latin Jazz Band" directed by Alexis Canciano in the show "Los Gofiones en el Tropicana" in December 2008, and at the Las Palmas Carnival in February 2009. In June 2015, he particípate in the show "Mujeres con Cajones" in Plaza Santa Ana in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, produced by Manolo González (Grupo Mestisay). Currently, he continues his work as a percussionist in groups and shows such as: Heriberto Cruz, the show “Ayer, hoy y siempre” tribute to Antonio Machín, the show “Tras la puerta violeta”, the show “Cantador Sinfónico”, Anyelia y Yoriel Latin Music Quartet, and also performs in various hotels across the Canary Islands, etc.
