Most memorable Next-Level Performance
Playing with John Patitucci, John Beasley, Magnus Lindgren, Peter Aspluns, China Moses and Dhafer Youseff at the Konserthuset in Stockholm was a great highlight in my musical life. The concert was called: Jazz Across Continents, and the idea of putting togheter artists from different cultural backgrounds, without boundaries, showing through music the world is One, was absolutely incredible. -
What Drives Your Creativity?
When I am in deep silence, without any of the distractions the world brings to the senses, I can connect with my source of real creativity. Then I sing internally the musical ideas I can receive from these deep inner moments. -
Why do you choose Vic Firth?
Vic Firth is a passion for me since I was a small kid in the south of Brasil and could not even find the sticks in the music shops and couldn't afford to buy them, even if I would, by any chance, find a pair. I could only see my heroes using Vic in the pages of the drum magazines. It is a great happiness to be part of this great family.
