Most memorable Next-Level Performance
Playing the 4th of July Celebration in Washington, DC with Ben Vereen and the Army Blues Big Band on the mall in front of 200,00 people! Amazing musicians and experience! Another is the first time I performed with Frank Sinatra! -
What Drives Your Creativity?
Listening to all types of music and drummers, talking about drums, teaching drums, doing research in neuroscience and cognitive psychology as they relate to motor skill development, handedness, learning, practice, and handedness, painting (expressionistic) and family (authenticity). -
Why do you choose Vic Firth?
The sticks feel so good and natural in my hands that they become an extension of my body, almost invisible, allowing for interpretation, imagination, and complete self-expression. Also, the incredible consistency in every stick!
