Marcos J. Lopez stands out amongst the most important multi-genre percussionists of his generation. Influenced by his family in Puerto Rico and noticed by Berklee College of Music, he furthered his career by graduating from said school, moving to NYC and performing with an array of artists. His experience varies from pop starts like Thalaa to world music stars like Angelique Kidjo and Lila Downs, salsa legends that include Isaac Delgado, Gilberto Santarosa and La India and jazz extraordinaries like Dave Liebman. Never settling, Marcos is always looking for growth and inspiration.
