Marcus Finnie started playing in the church in Memphis, TN. He's toured with Donna Summer, Kirk Whalum, Larry Carlton, Billy Preston, Lady Antebellum, Jonathan Butler, Earl Klugh, India Arie, and others. He currently resides in Nashville, TN while doing sessions, touring and teaching.

Most memorable Next-Level Performance
In 2017 playing with a group called The Expansion lead by Greg Bryant. We played a club called Jimmy Can't Dance in Louisville KY. We hit a stride where everyone was on the same musical turf and agreement. -
What Drives Your Creativity?
Still a lot of the music pre 2000's. Its always new if you've never heard it. But also some of these younger players who are stretching and searching without parameters, while others who play so inside a song that their part is an additional lyric. -
