A Costa Rican musician and drummer, Massimo Hernandez started out in the world of music self-taught at age 11. It was drummers like Stewart Copeland, Neil Peart and Bonham, and musicians as Sting and Seal who inspired Massimo to pick up a pair of drumsticks and start off on his now 25+ year musical career. Born on September 18th, 1974, Massimo's passion and love for music and performing arts has taken hi-along with his 25 year-old band Gandhi to a number of American, European and Asian countries. Gandhi has become a musical icon in Costa Rica and Central American music. In addition to drums, Massimo is a multi-instrumentalist. From an early age, he has composed music for both Gandhi and commercial projects. With Gandhi, Massimo has more than 15 releases and has received several recognitions from the Costa Rican Association of Composers and Music Writers.
