Matty Alger is a drummer, producer, multi-instrumentalist, and owner of The Cabin Studio in Nashville, TN. As a teenager, he lived and studied music in São Paulo, Brazil, returning to the states to attend Berklee College of Music and while in Boston completed studies with Gary Chaffee. Matty has gone on to appear on many records and film scores including Disney’s “Wreck it Ralph”. He has recorded/toured with Ben Harper, Charlie Musselwhite, Eminem, Rhianna, Roberta Flack, Albert Lee, Grace Potter, Hans Zimmer, Henry Jackman, and Leon Bridges (to name a few), with appearances on Jimmy Kimmel Live, The Tonight Show, CBS This Morning, and The MTV Video Music Awards. Currently based in Nashville with his family, Matty maintains a busy recording schedule playing, programming, arranging, and producing music.

Most Memorable Next-Level Performance?

Playing Gorge in Washington State. Incredible venue on the edge of a giant cliff that feels like the edge of the world. Hearing the drums echo on the canyon side is something I'll never forget!
