Most memorable Next-Level PerformanceI’m at that next level when I don’t have to think about playing. When I’m just as much part of the audience as I am the guy behind the kit. That’s when the real magic happens. I was playing the Red Wing Festival in Virginia with Pokey LaFarge and we were just on it that night. I could tell that I was making them move. In the studio or on the stage that’s the goal.
What Drives Your Creativity? What drives my creativity is the history of the instrument and carrying on its traditions through the music I perform . I love playing quietly when I have to and I try to make the band sound as good as they can.
Why do you choose Vic Firth?Really its a simple answer. I have been using Vic-Firth since the beginning, and I truly feel that there is no comparison. They last a long time too!
