Max Trabucco

Max Trabucco graduated with honours in Drums and Percussion, from the A. Stefani Conservatory in Italy. In 2014. He had the honour of being included in the "Dizionario del Jazz Italiano" (Dictionary of Italian Jazz), written by the well-known journalist and music critic Flavio Caprera. The following year, he was awarded first place, for the album "Oirquartett", in the "best first work" section of one of the most prestigious national competitions in Italy: the Chicco Bettinardi Prize. In 2016 he released his first album as band leader: "Racconti di una Notte" (Stories of a Night), which is included in Amedeo Furfaro's book about Italian jazz: "Il giro del Jazz in (altri) 80 dischi" (A tour of Jazz in 80 discs); this album was ranked among the eighty most significant publications in Italy that year. In 2019, he took part, as the percussionist, in the musical "Wonderland"; performing at some of the most prestigious international festivals such as: the Guitar Summit Festival, at King's Place in London (UK); the International Gitarren Festival, at Iserlhon (Germany); and many others.
In 2021, he started a long tour with the ONJGT (National Young Talents Jazz Orchestra), thus having the opportunity to perform at important festivals such as: Umbria Jazz festival (Perugia - IT), Les Rendez-vous festival (Nantes - FR), Il jazz italiano per le terre del Sisma (l'Aquila - IT), JazzMi festival (Milano - IT), and many others. In 2023 Starts a long collaboration with the Italian Violinist and composer Anais Drago performing in a lot of European jazz festivals.
