  • WHAT INSPIRES YOU?

The first time I played with Doc Severinsen, it was to a sold out crowd of thousands. To play for such an enthusiastic and energetic crowd, no less for a jazz concert, was an exhilarating and inspiring experience.

  • WORDS OF WISDOM FOR THE NEXT GENERATION OF DRUMMERS

Being a jazz musician means playing with many different high level players in different combinations and situations, and each performance is totally unique. Each time I play, I'm inspired in the moment to make musical decisions for each unique situation, and drives me to find new sounds and ideas.

  • FAVORITE ZILDJIAN CYMBAL/COMBO

Vic Firth sticks are unmatched in the industry in terms of feel, design, and consistency. I've played Vic Firth since the beginning of playing drums, and I'm proud to be associated with such a great brand for almost 20 years.
