I'm a Latin percussionist and music educator, specializing in Cuban and Brazilian music. I have ten Grammy nominations and am the only foreigner to be nominated for a Cubadisco award (2019) in the Afro-Cuban traditional music category. I retired this year from my teaching job at Indiana University (Associate Professor, Percussion and Jazz Departments), and am now living full time in the San Francisco Bay Area where I am performing, recording and producing both audio and video projects.
