Nathan Maliba is a professional drummer based in Toulouse, France, known for his work in jazz, fusion, funk, Latin and classical music. Born into a family of musicians, he discovered his passion for music at a young age and decided to pursue a career as a drummer at age seven. Alongside his focus on drumming, he received classical percussion training. In 2005, he was admitted to the Toulouse Conservatory, where he earned a gold medal in 2014 for both drumming and percussion.
Nathan has performed with various bands and projects at notable venues, including Café Cordial, Baked Potato, Halle aux Grains, Bag’Show Paris and the Toulouse Stadium. He is a regular performer at Jazz in Marciac, one of Europe’s largest jazz festivals.
Currently, Nathan Maliba teaches drumming in Toulouse, performs with multiple projects, and works as a studio session artist. He offers Master classes and demonstrations throughout France. He also creates content, including covers and personal projects, which he shares on his social media platforms such as Instagram, YouTube, TikTok and Facebook. He is an ambassador of DS Drums, Heats drumheads, and is endorsed by Sabian Cymbals.
