Nikko Taranto

Nikko Taranto was born on September 7, 1989, in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He began playing drums at the age of eight, while trying to form his first band. Throughout his career, Nikko recorded several studio albums with his band INFIERNO 18, including "Malos Aires" (2002), "Efecto Secundario" (2004), "Estas Lista para Esto?" (2007), "Ya Era Hora" (2009), "No Hay Lugar Para Dudar" (2011), and "En Mis Manos El Fuego" (2015). Along with Infierno 18, he had the opportunity to travel to several countries and perform live with artists such as Simple Plan, My Chemical Romance, The Offspring, New Found Glory (in Mexico), among others, also winning an MTV award in the "Up and Coming Artist" category with his band.
In 2010, "Infierno 18" was asked by the Coca-Cola Company to record a cover of the popular song "My Way" for a TV commercial that would be broadcast in several countries simultaneously.
As of 2015 Nikko joined the band as the current drummer for Diego Torres and Amaia Montero.
Nikko is also the drummer for SIAMES, a renowned Argentine group that has garnered over 180 million views on one of its most popular music videos, "The Wolf." Together with Siames, they have toured extensively in Argentina, several cities in Mexico, the United States, and Europe having visited countries such as France, Italy, Poland, Spain, Germany, and England.
Starting in 2022, Nikko joined the band as the official drummer for Argentine rapper Trueno in what was the final stretch of the Atrevido Tour. Together with Trueno, they have performed more than 80 shows around the world, presenting their latest album, Bien O Mal, and participating in the most important festivals in South America, Latin America, and Spain.
Actually Nikko has started “El Ultimo Baile Deluxe WORLD TOUR” with Trueno, performing in the most important Arenas of each Cities together with very well renown festivals in Europe and America. For 2026 Trueno is going on a worldwide tour with Gorillaz, presenting their new album.
