  • Most memorable Next-Level Performance

During my D.M.A. Ensemble Recital at the University of Arizona, I was completely in the zone and remember when it was over, I knew I had played better than I ever had before. Looking back, it was probably the best process of preparation I ever had. My effort was directly linked to my results.
  • What Drives Your Creativity?

As an educator, I have always sought and intentionally applied lessons from other industries to percussion, especially business and sports. As an author, I have always written about things that bother me in percussion education.
